To properly care for a viscose or viscose blend rug, avoid spot cleaning and never use liquids, as they can damage the fibers. Refrain from rubbing stains, as this can cause them to settle more deeply. If cleaning is necessary, seek a professional service experienced in handling fine rugs. Vacuum only as needed, moving in one direction without going back and forth, and use suction only—never bristles. Do not pull loose yarns; instead, trim them to match the pile height. Rotate the rug every three months to ensure even wear and prevent fading. To extend its lifespan and maintain its quality, using a rug pad is highly recommended.
